DTA Ecology Ltd was established in April 2015 to continue the work of David Tyldesley and Associates.The DTA brand is associated with an exceptional reputation in the interpretation and practical application of the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations (commonly referred to as the Habitats Regulations). With a long and accomplished track record of completing often complex and demanding projects, on time and on budget, DTA has a reputation for maintaining a consistent, highly respected, forefront position in cutting edge research and professional advisory services to a quality client base, including central government, statutory agencies, local authorities and national conservation bodies. As a company policy, and in order to avoid any conflict of interest, DTA Ecology only accepts work from a public sector client base.
DTA Ecology looks for innovative, proportionate and cost effective solutions. The company aims to resolve conflict and ensure compliance in a wide range of case work, mostly relating to plans and projects potentially affecting nationally and internationally designated wildlife sites. Whilst the majority of our work relates to the assessment of plans and projects under the Habitats Regulations, we also specialise in the provision of advice relating to the effects of air quality on designated conservation sites.
